William HOBKIRK was the oldest son and second child of James HOBKIRK & Ann PORTEOUS.
William was christened on 5 July 1824 in Peebles, Scotland.
In 1850 William HOBKIRK married Ann RAE.

George HOBKIRK, born 1860
Emma HOBKIRK, born 1864. Emma died about 1920. She married P.J. Telfer.
