Joseph Reckert and Sabina Koberlein

Our thanks goes to Patricia Mullen for supplying most of the photos on this page.

There must have been the family name BLISS, because two of Anna Reckert's grandchildren have bible pages with the name BLISS in them,
and Frederick BLISS is in two of the censuses.

Following are views from a bible in the possession of her granddaughter Murphy: Bible, View 1, View 2, View 3, View 4

Sabina's father was probably Michael KOBERLEIN. here are views of his Mug1, Mug2, Mug3

Joseph RECKERT and Sabina KOBERLEIN were married in 1886 and had the following children:

From the 1900 census we find the family living at 267 Harris Avenue, Queens, New York, with Michael KOBERLEIN, 78, born April 1828 in Germany, as were his parents. He arrived in the USA in 1853.
