John Webb HOPEKIRK passed away on 12 October 1847 at age 9 1/2
From Trewman's Exeter Flying Post or Plymouth and
Cornish Advertier, dated 14 October 1847, we have the following
notice:
"HOPEKIRK, John Webb: aged 9 1/2 years, died on 12 October 1847 after
most severe suffering; only son of Mr. R. Hopekirk, perfumer, High Street,
Exeter."
