Jane Cartwright Price HOBKIRK Death Notice 3 March 1849

French transcription of the Death Certificate:

"Aujourd'hui trois mars mil huit cent quarante neuf a  une heure et demie du soir, par devant nous Charles Nicolas Duterme adjoint au Maire de la ville de Saumur departement de Maine et Loire, remplissant les fonctions d'officier public de l'etat civil, ont comparu a  la Mairie Messieurs Choiseau Edouard, coiffeur, age de vingt cinq ans et Eugene Corbineau, boucher, age de vingt et un ans, tous les deux domicilies de cette ville, lesquels nous ont declare que ce jour a  six heures et demie du matin est decedee en son domicile (en cette ville) au Jagueneau, Dame Jane Cartwright Price, agee de cinquante huit ans, nee a  Knighton, Angleterre, epouse de Mr Adam Kobkirk, proprietaire, fille de Jane Cartwright et de Harry Foley Price, tous deux decedes, et ont les comparants signe le present acte avec nous apres lecture."


The English translation:
"Today the third March thousand eight hundred and forty nine at the half past one in the evening, in front of us Charles Nicolas Duterme deputy mayor of the city of Saumur department of Maine-et-Loire, filling(performing) the functions(offices) of publicly appointed official of the registry office(civil status), appeared in the City hall Misters Choiseau Edouard, hairdresser, twenty five years old and Eugène Corbineau, butcher, twenty one years old, both taken up residence of this city, who declared us that this day at half past six in the morning died in her place of residence (in this city) in Jagueneau, Dame Jane Cartwright Price, fifty eight years old, born in Knighton, England, wife of Mr Adam Kobkirk, owner, girl of Jane Cartwright and Harry Foley Price, both died, and have comparants signed the present act with us after reading."
