Wallace J. HOBKIRK was born about December 1851 in Wisconsin, the son of Joseph H. HOBKIRK and Almira Jane COOPER.
Wallace was farming with his father in Rock Township, Mitchell County, Iowa in 1870. In 1880 he was farming with his brother, Robert, in Rock Township. In 1901 Wallace owned 320 acres of land on Section 27, Burr Oak Township, Mitchell County, Iowa about 5 miles southeast of Osage.
About 1880 Wallace married Mirna (Minnie) LOVEJOY. She was born 21 December 1857 and she died 13 Sep 1902 in Mithcell County, Iowa. She is buried at Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa.
Wallace died in Mitchell County, Iowa in 1937.
