William HABKIRK was probably the oldest son of Robert HABKIRK
His mother was probably Jane, but possibly Belle.
William HABKIRK was born 10 February 1858 and married Hattie Lavina McDONALD
From the June 1895 Territorial Census of Minnesota we find William and
Hattie living in Norman County, the Village of Lockhart.
William is listed as 34, a Farmer, born in Canada and Hattie is listed
as 26 and born in Minnesota
The children are: Annie(?) age 9, born in North Dakota, Jennie age 7, born
in North Dakota, Robert age 5, born in North Dakota , Jessie age 3 born in
Minnesota and William 9 months born in Minnesota. So that would mean
William was born about September of 1894.
From the 1905 census we find this family living in Gillies, the province
of Saskatchewan "not included in the Duck Lake Indian Reserevation"
William is 47, born in Ontario, Hattie is 39, born in Ontario, and all the
children are listed as born in the USA as follows:
Jessie, age 19, Robert age 17, Jessie age 15, William age 12, Leroy age 10,
Donald age 6 and Wesley age 4.
William and Hattie HABKIRK had the following known children:
Annie HABKIRK, born 15 Nov 1886 in North Dakota. She married Nickolas NYE
Jennie HABKIRK, born
24 July 1888 in North Dakota. She married Benjamin Franklin

Donald HABKIRK, born 6 Nov 1902 in Minnesota, USA. Passed away 9 May 1955 in Alameda, California
Wesley HABKIRK, born 19 May 1903 in the USA. Married "Yvonne"
Grace HABKIRK, born 9 Sep 1904. Married Ronald James G. Heaver
Hattie Lavina HABKIRK, born 4 oct 1906 in Blaine Lake,
SK, Canada. Married Maximillian Samletzki
Hattie passed away on 15 March 1997 in
Rosthern, SK, Canada
Isabell Irene "Belle" HABKIRK, born 25 June 1908,
probably in Canada (she was the youngest)
Belle married Dale CAIN. Belle passed
away in 1979.
There was another child born before Belle, since family history says there were 12 children born to William and Hattie.
