Muriel Mary BLAKE & Alex Charles KNOX

Muriel Mary BLAKE was the oldest child of Sibyl Eliza HOPKIRK & Douglas BLAKE

Muriel was born on 5 December 1926 in Wellington, New Zealand.

Alex was born on 4 August 1928 in Te Kuiti(North Island), the eldest child of Charles and Florence(nee Muller) KNOX. Alex also had a younger sister.

On 16 May 1959 Muriel and Alex were married at St. Johns Presyterian Church in Wellington, New Zealand.

Muriel and Alex made their early home in Lower Hutt(near Wellington) where their first four children, all daughters, were born. In 1966 they moved to Christchurch where their only son and eventually the fifth and final daughter was born.

Alex was a Foundry Engineer.




Alex passed away on 13 May 1997


Muriel passed away on 18 August 2015
