William Hume HOPKIRK was the second son of Rollin James HOPKIRK and Harriet DIEDRICH
William was born in 1915.
He married Jane Louise PETSKA, the daughter of Frank Forrest PETSKA and Clara C. LAMB, born 29 March 1916 at Fort Madison, Iowa.
Jane was a member of Chi Omega at Culver-Stockton College, Missouri. She was chosen Homecoming Queen and earned a bachelor's degree in English. During World War II she worked for the Harvard Underwater Sound Lab. She also worked for the UA Medical Library and the UC-Irvine Medical School.
William and Jane had two sons, both of whom are still living.
William passed away on 1970 and Jane passed away on 12 October 2008 in Tucson, Arizona
