Boy Missing.

David Ballantyne Hopkirk, aged 6 years, living with his parents at Maud street, Kedron, left his home on Saturday morning at about 11 o'clock, and has failed to return. The police authorities have instituted a search for the missing lad, and the Water Police are dragging the river in the vicinity of his home, but up to late last night no trace of the boy had been found.

Body Recovered from the River.

The body of David Ballantyne Hopkirk, the boy who had been missing from his home, Maud-street, Kedron, since 11 a.m. on Saturday, was recovered by the water police in Breakfast Creek at 9.30 yesterday. A post-mortem exami- atlon showed that death was due to asphyxia by drowning. (memo: the address from the clipping above is in error as "Kedron" should have been "Windsor")
