In the 1911 census we find Matthew Lowe, age 44, coal miner hewer, Marion Helen 46, assistant school teacher, James Frank, age 16, apprentice fitter, Eric, age 7, all living at 69 Bolton Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield.
Marion Helen HOPKIRK passed away in 1948 at Ince in Lancashire.
