Hopkirk Brothers Flaxmill enlarged right side of photo

Comments by Wauyne Collins: The two men in waistcoats to the left are likely mill supervisors. John Hunter Brown stands hands in pockets in the centre, and to the left of him, his friend from Scotland, Professor Robert Wallace. To the right the two women, on the left is Amy Devereux and at right her sister Lydia Williams (nee Devereux), Lydia being the wife of the Napier Railway Stores clerk and amateur photographer William Williams.
