MELANSON, Jacqueline Anne - At Seaforth Community Hospital peacefully on Monday, July 12, 2010, Jacqueline (Jackie) Melanson of Goderich and formerly of Seaforth, in the 79th year. Beloved wife of Mel. Cherished mother of Leanne McKay of Egmondville, Joanne Bartman of Edmonton and Janine (Rick) Courtemanche of Brampton. Loving grandmother of eight grandchildren, David, Lisa and Lori; Matthew, Sarah, Seth and Hannah; and Celeste, and two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Navaeh. Fondly remembered by her siblings Les (Diana) Habkirk of Henderson, NV, Libby (Larry) Wilson of Goderich and Brian (Dianne) Habkirk of Pittsford, NY. Predeceased by two infant daughters Janice and Laurie, her parents Scott and May (Hudson) Habkirk, a son-in- law Doug McKay and sister-in-law Jane Habkirk. Family will receive friends at the WHITNEY-RIBEY FUNERAL HOME, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 15 at 11:00 am. Pastor Stephen Hildebrand will officiate. Interment Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth.
